Nema razlike u konačnoj brzini i snazi motora s nikasilom/kromom i dobro odrađenom košuljicom. Jedino je trajnost veća
S budalama se ne isplati raspravljati, jer prvo te spuste na svoj nivo, a onda te tu dotuku iskustvom...

u aluminiju sa nikasilom razlika je u tome da se cilindar može jače naturpijati bez straha od pregrijavanja.. nikasil je vrlo vrlo tvrd materijal a gus je mekan metal i brzo se pregrije.. uzmimo u obzir da se preko njega hladi i klip, znači alu termo grupe se bolje hlade, s tim trpe jača naprezanja bez štetnih nuspojava.. dokaz tome je i da se prave sportske 2t jurilice oduvijek rade sa alu nikasil cilindrima.. neki proizvođači auta također koriste tu tehniku (honda mislim)

pa sva auta s visoko turaznim masinama preko 8 000 koriste Nikasil,a sportska za trke obavezno,,ukljucujuci i Formulu 1, :wink:

a u zadnjih par godina i svi motori.. svaki novi motor od 500+ccm ima alu blok..

Eto da napomenem za ove koji imaju E90,CTX-a itd motorke i te dinde koje koriste Nikasil oblogu cilindra da sipaju Benzin BS-bez sumpora,,jer Sumpor on unistava Nikasil u kratkom roku,,,Amerika nema taj benzin BS ko mi pa se za njihovo trziste nekoristi Nikasil zbog Sumpora u Benzinu,,zariba zacas Flakserica,Motorka itd,za njih se radi Alusil njemu ne smeta Sumpor u Benzinu,,ok znaci Sipajte benzin BS ja znam da ga ima Benziska Petrol i OMW,za ostale neznam,, :wink:

ALUSIL je isto sto i NIKASIL.
 Razlika je u nazivu iz razloga sto je kompanija MAHLE zastitila naziv NIKASIL kao svoj izum.

Ispricavam se,Mozda sam pogresio u detalju,ali je sustina moga misljenja ista. Nikasil se koristi u Americi takodje,ali ima drugacijih naziva zbog zastite brenda od strane MAHLE koju sam spomenuo. Razliciti proizvodjaci krste NIKASIL po svojoj volji. U ovom Slucaju, ALUSIL je druga prica.

ne Nikasil ima sam jedan naziv u cjelom svejetu Nikasil(nickalsilici karbida) al su zbog skupe obnove Nikasila na Porseju zbog visokog sumpora u Benzinu,i Americkog trzista uveli ,,Alusil,, sadrži oko 78% aluminija i 17% silicija,,,Alusil, kada je urezan, će izložiti vrlo teško silicij talog. Silicij površina je porozna dovoljno za držanje ulja,,,,Alusil ima skroz drugaci hemiski sastav od Nikla i nema veze s Nikasilom ,,,Nikasil i jes naziv u cjelom svjetu od strane Mehle,,zato se i zove Nikasil svugdje,,,,,,,,a Alusil je izmislijo  Kolbenschmidt u Njemackoj,,,koja ima cak i ostale proizvode svoje ,,Karike ,Klipovi,blokovi itd,,sve pod znakom  Kolbenschmidt :mrgreen: :wink: neki dan sam kupovo karike za Golf 2 600KN kostaju  :wink:

Ja hocu da kazem da se Nikasil koristi i u americi i danas,a koliko sam procitao, ALUSIL je porse uveo neko kratko vreme zbog smanjenja troskova,....

Nikasil is a trademarked electrodeposited lipophilic nickel matrix silicon carbide coating for engine components, mainly piston engine cylinder liners. It was introduced by Mahle in 1967, initially developed to allow rotary engine apex seals (NSU Ro80 and C111) to work directly against the aluminum housing. This coating allowed aluminum cylinders and pistons to work directly against each other with low wear and friction. Unlike other methods, including cast iron cylinder liners, Nikasil allowed very large cylinder bores with tight tolerances and thus allowed existing engine designs to be expanded easily, the aluminium cylinders also gave a much better heat conductivity than cast iron liners, which is an important factor for a high output engine. The coating was further developed by US Chrome Corporation in the USA in the early 1990s (under the trade name of "Nicom"), as a replacement for hard-chrome plated cylinder bores for Mecury Marine Racing, Kohler Engines, and as a repair replacement for factory-chromed snowmobiles, dirt bikes, ATVs, watercraft and automotive V8 liners/bores.

Porsche started using this on the 1970 917 race car, and later on the 1973 911 RS. Porsche also used it on production cars, but for a short time switched to Alusil due to cost savings for their base 911. Nikasil cylinders were always used for the 911 Turbo and RS models. Nikasil coated aluminum cylinders allowed Porsche to build air-cooled engines that had the highest specific output of any engine of their time. Nikasil is still used in today's 911s with great success.

Nikasil was very popular in the 1990s. It was used by companies such as Audi, BMW, Ferrari and Jaguar Cars in their new engine families. However, the sulfur found in much of the world's low quality gasoline caused some Nikasil cylinders to break down over time [1], causing costly engine failures.

Nikasil or similar coatings under other trademarks are also still widely used in racing engines, including those used in Formula One and ChampCar. Suzuki currently uses a race-proven nickel phosphorus-silicon-carbide proprietary coating trademarked SCEM (Suzuki Composite Electro-chemical Material) to maximize cylinder size and improve heat dissipation, e.g., on the engine of the Suzuki TL1000S, V-Strom 650, and Hayabusa motorcycles.[1]
